When Susan G. Komen was ready to move its vital breast cancer awareness and prevention work into the Middle East, it tapped DiversityWealth to develop cultural competency training to prepare the Komen staff for their interactions and trainings with their Arab colleagues. Through careful listening and analysis, DiversityWealth developed a customized program that met the needs for both a successful learning environment and conference interactions while building the foundation for the next stage of negotiations and planning for the ultimately successful Middle East roll-out.

DiversityWealth was contacted by the FDA, OND, responding to identified needs in the area of intermediate presentation skills working closely with the Associate Director of the Learning and Development Center to tailor the Intermediate Presentation Skills workshops for the diverse staff of the FDA Office of New Drugs. An on-going DiversityWealth training series, participants consistently give top ratings to the interactive, engaging and practical workshop and individual coaching sessions, calling the trainings “relevant” “practical and useful” “really enjoyable”.
Building Strong Collaborative Work Groups

DiversityWealth was tapped a second time to tailor our workshop for an FDA, OND division leadership team. Our training with that division led the FDA, OND Learning and Development Center led to a licensing of the Building Strong Collaborative Work Teams program to the Learning and Development Center and a coaching license to roll out the training more widely across the organization.
Diversity & Inclusion Consulting &Training: Religion in the Workplace
(Focus on the needs of people in workplaces with diverse, multi-cultural, multi-religious (including non-religious) stake-holders, with emphasis on clarity of regulations).
DiversityWealth partnered with ProGroup Inc. to create and deliver a series of trainings that reflected the Diversity and Inclusion vision and objectives of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Learning objectives of the training design were clearly tied to the US laws and policies regarding religious expression in the workplace. Training focused on practical case study-based solutions that provided participants with take-aways to increase their ability to function comfortably, productively in the work space within legal parameters while exercising their rights to religious freedom, a “win-win” learning platform. DiversityWealth facilitators’ skill in communicating essential messages such as “To respect need not equal agreement.” which resonated throughout the training materials, helped diffuse existing tensions and establish the foundation for positive workplace interactions going forward. Evaluations were uniformly high.
Cross-Cultural Consulting and Training: The Middle East & India: Cultural Competency

DiversityWealth was selected from an RFP process to create and deliver a customized cross-cultural training, on cultures of the Middle East and India for airport employees in DFW’s International terminal. Through in-depth conversations with DFW leadership and needs assessment, DiversityWealth created a customized, interactive, engaging program that received an evaluation score of 4.8 out of 5 overall. Participants described the training as “beneficial’ and ‘thoroughly enjoyable’. And, DFW Airport’s VP of Diversity called the trainings a “huge success”.
Diversity and Inclusion Process Development

DiversityWealth began the multi-year relationship with the First American Corporation office in the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas regional office with an Executive Briefing for leadership. This was followed with a needs assessment and on-going consultation and coaching with the Vice President of Diversity. A range of trainings on Diversity and Inclusion followed, beginning with the launch of the Diversity Action Team and over time, the formation of vibrant Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s).
